Miri Mawr - baby and toddler group
Miri Mawr is a warm and welcoming baby and toddler group in Ealing, London. It was set up to give parents and their little ones (aged 0 to 4) an opportunity to meet others and have fun through the medium of Welsh. The group is open to all, whether you’re a fluent Welsh speaker, a Welsh learner or someone with an interest in learning.When and where
When: Every Friday morning, 10am - 12 noon, during term time. Where: Hanwell Community Centre, Westcott Crescent, Hanwell, London, W7 1PD You’ll find us in the London Welsh School on the first floor of Hanwell Community Centre.Price
A single 2 hour session costs £5, or you can pay £60 for the term.What’s the group like?
At Miri Mawr, each session is filled with engaging and varied activities that inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help children (and adults!) discover the Welsh language naturally, through play. Our mornings typically include: • Singing songs and rhymes • Storytelling • Creative crafts • Gentle movement or yoga • Lots of fun games It’s a safe, colourful, and welcoming space where you and your child can connect, try new things, and meet new friends. Many of our Miri Mawr children go on to attend the London Welsh School, so this is a great opportunity to become part of our community from early on.What people say
