Each year the London Welsh School hosts a tea and cake stall at Queens Park so that we can meet new friends and catch up with old friends and also fundraise for the school. We are lucky to be one of only two schools in London to be offered to sell food in the tea garden.
Of course our main produce is Bara Brith and Welsh Cakes which have proved popular over the years. Our baking, presentation and packaging skills are tested and we sometimes need the sales skills of some of the parents to go the other side of the stall and explain what Bara Brith and a Welsh Cake is made of!
We are also grateful to ex-parents of the school for baking and supporting us on this day.
This year we raised over £900 for the school!
