RIVER THAMES TRIP - Class Two pupils enjoyed their trip to the River Thames with Thames Explorer Trust.

LONDON WELSH SCHOOL’S POETRY FESTIVAL – We had a fantastic day working with Anni Llŷn, Welsh Children’s Poet laureate, and Ifor ap Glyn, National Poet of Wales.
We also took part in a dance workshop with the presenter and dancer, Tudur Phillips!
MINDFULNESS - We were very lucky to be given the opportunity to take part in Mindfulness sessions with Ann Wood.
HANWELL CARNIVAL – Another fantastic day at Hanwell Carnival, we can’t wait until next year! 1st prize for ‘Best Parade’!
PANTOSAURUS - The new Welsh language ‘Pantosorws’ video was launched at the Urdd Eisteddfod today. Thank you to the NSPCC for asking us to be part of such an important campaign. Check out the new video here and listen to our pupils singing the chorus!
TENNIS LESSONS – Class Two pupils thoroughly enjoyed their first tennis lesson with Dessislava Diakova today!

RED NOSE DAY - A huge thank you to our School Council members for organising a brilliant Talent Show to raise money for Comic Relief.
EALING LIBERAL SYNAGOGUE - Class 2 pupils enjoyed visiting Ealing Liberal Synagogue today.
EISTEDDFOD – Congratulations to all pupils who competed at Eisteddfod TAG (The Eisteddfod for competitors outside Wales).

POETRY COMPETITION - Class Two pupils have been busy creating poems about dreams. The poems were entered into the Young Writers competition, Once upon a Dream and all the pupils’ work will be published in a book. FANTASTIC news!

HWYL A HALIBALW – We were very busy at the ‘Hwyl a Halibalw’ festival today!
BLUE FOX FOREST SCHOOL – Class one pupils thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the forest! Thank you Blue Fox Forest School.
CYW – We had a great afternoon with presenters Huw and Catrin from Cyw.
HARVEST FESTIVAL – Thank you to everyone who attended our Harvest Festival Assembly and for contributing towards the food collection for Hanwell Community Centre Food Bank. Thank you to Mr. Rob Nicholls for his message during the assembly and to Class Two pupils for organising a brief presentation about the importance of saying ‘thank you’. They also sang ‘Cofia bob amser, cofia bob tro’ with the younger pupils – da iawn!
Steffan Hughes came to speak to us today about some of his experiences in the Paralympic Games – thank you, Steffan!
SCHOOL COUNCIL COMPETITION – Congratulations to Steffan from Class One for winning the School Council logo competition. Thank you to Courtney and Gwynfor (year 5 pupils) for judging the competition on behalf of the School Council.
SCHOOL COUNCIL – NEW MEMBERS – Congratulations to the following pupils on being elected on to the new School Council: Courtney (Vice), Gwynfor (Vice Chair), Idris (Secretary), Siôn, Aneurin and Dylan.
The new School Council has been very busy today - collecting ideas, creating new school rules, planning events and they have even set this week’s homework ! Creating a new logo for the School Council is this weekend’s homework. It’s a competition! Good luck!
